Claire graduated from Otago University with a bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2008.

She completed her new graduate hospital-based rotations in Wellington before heading to Canada, qualifying as a physio there before working in both private practice and hospital settings. She gained experience in neurology, cardio respiratory conditions and older persons health.

Neurology became a real passion for Claire and after moving to London she further honed her skills in neurorehabilitation working at a top Neurology hospital in London. She also was involved in clinical research for Multiple Sclerosis. After 7 years overseas Claire returned to New Zealand working at Auckland hospital on the stroke rehabilitation and older persons health wards, and was also involved in stroke rehabilitation research.

Claire has a passion for stroke rehabilitation, neurological conditions and the management of conditions affecting those later in life.
Outside of physiotherapy, Claire enjoys spending time with her young family in the outdoors, running and biking.
