Ellis graduated from the University of Otago in 2019 with a bachelor of Physiotherapy endorsed with Distinction in Physiotherapy. Ellis has worked in Wellington for the past two and a half years before being drawn to come back home to the mountains and sun in Lake Wanaka.

Ellis has worked in a sports medicine clinic in Wellington working with a varied demographic of clients and athletes of different calibres. Ellis worked as the lead physiotherapist for the Wellington College First XV and Wellington College 7’s from 2020-2022.

Having played rugby all his life, with various other activities Ellis is very accustomed to the varying injuries that knocks in life can create, and has experienced his fair share of time away from the sporting environment due to these.

“I have a passion for helping people reach their full potential in their chosen activity. This stems from the time I have spent sitting on the sidelines due to my own injuries in the past. I have first hand experience of the frustration that being injured creates. Therefore I relish the opportunity to work with individuals who aspire to improve their current function.”
