Initially working in the public health system in the UK helped her gain knowledge in paediatrics, neurology, respiratory, chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions, enabling her to get valuable experience to treat a wide range of conditions. Subsequently focusing on sports medicine, Pilates and high level functional rehabilitation, this combination ensures that she can effectively treat acute sporting injuries to return to high level sport, chronic musculoskeletal and low back pain for return to work through Pilates and strength and conditioning programs. Katharine works with the national development ski, snowboard and free ride teams and was a physiotherapist at the Youth Winter Olympics in Lausanne 2020 and works in the community running strength classes.

You won’t see Katharine far away from any sports field, multisport event or mountain bike track with or without her tamariki as sport is her passion.
