Special interests:
Meesha originally comes from Melbourne, where she earned degrees in both psychology and physiotherapy. Almost a decade ago, she moved to New Zealand and pursued a post-graduate qualification in sports physiotherapy at Otago University.
Throughout her career, Meesha has specialized in winter sports physiotherapy. She spent six seasons working in the ski fields of Cardrona, New Zealand, and three seasons in Hakuba, Japan. Additionally, she traveled with Snow Sports New Zealand as a performance physiotherapist for World Cup and XGames events in the USA. She also served as the traveling physiotherapist and medical lead for the New Zealand National Ice Hockey League champions, as well as for the New Zealand Ice Fernz during their World Cup campaign in Iceland, where the team secured a bronze medal.
Meesha’s passion for sports extends beyond winter activities. A lifelong basketball player, she has worked with the Central Otago women’s basketball team, the Otago NBL team, and Aspiring Basketball Academy, where she also coaches.
Outside of her professional life, Meesha enjoys spending time on the lake boating, hiking in the mountains, skiing, or camping by the beach. She is deeply committed to her work as a physiotherapist and loves building strong relationships with her clients. She uses a combination of manual therapy, manipulations, dry needling, and exercise-based rehabilitation to help clients achieve optimal recovery and performance—from injury management to peak athletic performance
